Hello,I am Annette, founder of I Do Weddings with Love. I began designing in a small shop located in Cincinnati, Ohio. My daughter was in school and I thought it would be fun to design floral arrangements. I learned that yes it was fun, but there was a lot to learn as well.
After working in shops owned by others, I decided to take the chance and try my own business. I took courses, went on retreats, and love every second of it.
I do not have a storefront. I converted my garage into a flower workshop by adding a large cooler, tables, shelving and all my tools. I have a storage shed and two bedrooms filled with vases and rentals. I love working from home and if you would like to meet in person, we can grab a cup of coffee or even lunch/dinner.
I specialize only in weddings and events. I do not do the everyday florals. I do not accept small orders.
I communicate with emails to ensure that I receive any changes that you need in writing. I am not perfect but by having them in writing the communications do not become overwhelming.
I do not charge per stem. I charge per arrangement. I design by if it looks beautiful not by how many flowers I use. I feel this gives me the freedom to create for beauty not costs.
I am an open book not a gatekeeper. I will be honest with you where your money is best spent. Not a typical salesperson. I love to be challenged with design. So I will not copy someone else’s design. If you want to allow me the opportunity to create, I am the florist for you. I look at the day as picture moments. I do not want to talk you into something unnecessary. There are always options to create beautiful designs with types of flowers used, vase options, reusable flowers from ceremony to reception.
I do not have a back up job. This is my career. I do this full time and rely on the income. I am not a hobbyist. I love what I do and plan on being here to stay. I love creating so let’s create together. Are you ready?
